As part of our transport topic we have been looking at the forces, pushing and pulling. We looked at different types of transport that are pushed and pulled. We then conducted a science investigation. We were investigating which car would go the furthest when going down different height ramps. We were measuring the distance the car travels. We had to draw pictures of the equipment we would be using and then make a prediction about what we thought might happen. We then carried out the experiment. We found out that the car going down the steepest ramp went the furthest because it picked up more speed as it went down. We had a great time doing this experiment.

Today we celebrated world book day! The children dressed up in amazing costumes of their favourite characters. We had a fun day filled with activities based around the book ‘The Cat in The Hat.’ We did a photo shoot, sharing circle, character description, cat in the hat drawing, designing a book mark and buddy reading with the year 3 class before a celebration assembly. There was a lot of fun had by all. Thanks for your participation 🙂

Mulberry class had a red-iculously fun day on Red Nose Day! Thanks to everyone who bought and made cakes for the cake sale. We look forward to finding out how much the whole school raised for Red Nose Day.
Here’s our favourite joke: Why couldn’t the skeleton cross the road? Because he didn’t have the guts to do it!
